Vintage Sales 2019

What a success! You picked up some of our best retro clothing, jewellery and fabric at bargain prices, and we raised an amazing £1200!! We've already committed some of this to funding Storybox and dress-up play sessions with Mouselcoomb Chomp, a holiday lunch club for families struggling to feed everyone at home out of term time.

plus a bargain rail to boot! Fabrics and remnants at £1 a metre.

100% of proceeds will come to Gladrags, helping us to provide costumes to community groups, schools and health & wellbeing projects at subsidised rates, as well as run our own projects within communities experiencing disadvantage, including storytelling and dress-up activities, sewing workshops and reminiscence sessions.

Thanks to all who came, sought and bought fabrics and clothes, gving them a new life in your homes! We raised an amazing £830, and have already started putting that to good use, both at Gladrags and in our reminiscence project.
